Kilburn stabbing sees two teenagers rushed to hospital as police hunt attacker

Two 18-year-old men have been rushed to hospital after a stabbing in Kilburn yesterday afternoon (Wednesday, May 21). Police and paramedics were called to Buckley Road, near the junction with Calcott Road shortly after 1.30pm.

An air ambulance was seen landing in Kilburn Grange Park before both stab victims were taken to hospital by road. Their injuries were later found to be neither life-threatening or life-changing

No arrests have been made so far after a Metropolitan Police investigation was launched in connection with the attack. Anyone with information is asked to get in touch with the force.

A spokesperson said: “Police were called at 1.47pm on Wednesday, May 21 following reports of a stabbing in Kilburn. Officers joined London Ambulance Service at Buckley Road where two men had suffered stab wound injuries.

“The two 18-year-olds were taken to hospital for further treatment by London’s Air Ambulance. Their injuries have been assessed as non-life-threatening or non-life-changing.

“Enquiries are ongoing. No arrests have as yet been made. Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 with the reference 5224/21May or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 1.34pm today (May 21) to reports of a stabbing in Buckley Road, Kilburn. We sent a number of resources to the scene including ambulance crews and paramedics in fast response cars. We also dispatched London’s Air Ambulance.

“We treated two patients and took them both by road to a major trauma centre as a priority.”
