Dozens of road and lane closures are set to disrupt Lambeth residents over the summer while major gas and water works are carried out.
Most of the upcoming roadworks are set to last a few days each, but some ongoing ones in Tulse Hill, West Norwood, Herne Hill and South Lambeth have been taking place for well over a month already.
Using information supplied on one.network, the Local Democracy Reporting Service (LDRS) has compiled a list of roads that will be closed over the next few weeks with expected opening dates. Affected areas include Clapham, Brixton, Streatham Hill, West Norwood, Tulse Hill, West Dulwich, Herne Hill and South Lambeth.
The longest ongoing lane closure is on Wandsworth Road in South Lambeth, from April 28 to October 30 while the longest road closure is located from the junction of Upper Tulse Hill to the rear of 25-34 Godolphine House, from June 9 to August 1.
The longest new closure not yet in place will be in Landsdowne Hill, West Norwood, which will last nearly a month, from August 26 to September 23.
