Liam Gallagher has confessed that it’s regrettable Oasis “wasted precious time” during the 15 years he and his brother Noel were estranged.

This July, the iconic Britpop band is set to embark on their first tour in over a decade and a half, named Oasis Live ’25, following their reconciliation last year.

The Supersonic group have been hard at work in rehearsals throughout June, with lead singer Liam lamenting the lost years due to his bitter row with Noel, 58, while praising their current practice sessions as “spiritual”.

A fan queried on X: “How does it feel singing songs with ur brother again? Like old times? (sic)”. Liam responded: “You know what it’s spiritual but I can’t help think about all those wasted years what a waste of PRECIOUS time (sic).”

Oasis disbanded after a notorious altercation between the Gallagher brothers at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris back in 2009. Their comeback has become one of the most eagerly awaited musical events of recent times.

Ahead of the much-anticipated reunion tour, Liam has brushed off worries from fans regarding the state of his vocals. The 52 year old singer, who suffers from Hashimoto’s disease which can affect the voice, caused quite a stir on social media after mentioning his use of throat lozenges, sour sweets, and cough syrup.

This led to fan speculation about whether his voice will endure through the upcoming stadium gigs with his elder brother Noel this summer.

A fan reached out to him on X following his revelation, tweeting: “@liamgallagher If you need that many throat stuff does that mean anytime your voice can still go? We don’t want cancellations.” Liam shot back with a terse reply: “Shut up you melt.”

Another follower queried the vocalist: “@liamgallagher Did you eat all your sour throat candies yesterday?” – Liam’s comeback was: “@adele_liam I did 2 pacs.”
