I’ve never known luxury beauty to be more affordable than in 2024. It’s a bit of an oxymoron, I know, but with the rising popularity of beauty boxes packed to the brim with coveted products that would have ordinarily been beyond most’ wildest dreams, it’s never been easier or cheaper to get your hands on so many premium products at once.
The latest retailer to launch a haul of high-end treats for a fraction of their retail price is Liberty London. The department store has released a limited edition Sun Set Glow beauty kit, boasting the ultimate edit of holiday heroes.
Worth more than £377, beauty fans can snap it up for less than a third of the price at £115, with a number of the products inside being worth between £30-45 each. Housed in a Liberty print wash bag, inside there are 11 products from the Liberty Beauty Hall – eight of which are full-sized – including brands like Ultra Violette, Sunday Riley and Dermalogica.

Packed with an unbeatable line-up of beauty essentials, Liberty says this specially curated kit ‘features everything needed for a dose of indulgence at home’. And they’re not wrong. There’s a great mix of products for skin, hair and more, including the likes of Philip Kingsley’s Swimcap Hair Mask, Blink Brow Bar Clear Brow Gloss and Sunday Riley C.E.O. Glow Vitamin C and Turmeric Face Oil.
But one product we think shoppers are really going to obsess over is the Surratt Artistique Liquid Blush in Barbe e Papa, which is worth £42. And in an era where Sabrina Carpenter and her glowing cheeks live in our heads rent free, we think it’s perfect for summer.

But as is often the case with curated edits like this, with so much packed inside, it’s unlikely that shoppers will love every single item inside, so be sure to check out the contents and weigh up if it’s worth it.
While the Liberty edit is quite pricey, there are plenty of other options out there, too. For example, Boots has released a Limited Edition Buyers Picks Beauty Box, which saves shoppers over £100 on the contents. The £45 haul features a selection of products picked by shopping experts at Boots, including some seriously impressive brands like Fenty Beauty, Sol De Janeiro, Liz Earle, r.e.m beauty and more.
The retailer suggests the box is worth £156.95, meaning shoppers save around £110 on the RRP. Elsewhere, Glossybox has announced the £40 Summer Bag 2024 which is worth over £150, but will not be available until later this month, while LookFantastic’s £45 Summer Heroes Edit is worth over £130 and is available to buy now.
