In celebration of the season series of Meghan Markle’s Netflix show, Prince Harry has given her an emotional present, with their young daughter giving her tick of approval
The second series of Meghan Markle’s lifestyle programme titled With Love, Meghan, premiered on Tuesday, and despite receiving mixed reviews , the Duchess celebrated the launch with her family.
To commemorate the Netflix drop, Prince Harry has surprised Meghan with a very sentimental gift, with their young daughter Lilibet giving her tick of approval in a heartwarming moment captured on video.
Taking to her Instagram stories on Tuesday evening, hours after her show premiered, the Duchess showed off the sweet present from her husband: a black and white framed photo of Meghan with the family’s beloved dog Guy, who passed away earlier this year . It comes after Meghan Markle takes swipe at ‘silly’ royal rule she had to follow ‘all the time’.

Meghan wrote over the video: “Morning surprise from my husband,” as she showed the huge frame propped against the kitchen bench, wrapped in a white bow.
A barefoot Lilibet still in her pyjamas comes into frame, and can be seen bouncing over to the photo of the beloved pooch and giving it a sweet kiss.
The Duchess of Sussex announced Guy had passed away in a tribute to the “sweet” dog in January, as she admitted she had cried “too many tears to count”.
Her heartfelt message included photos of Guy huddled up in bed, enjoying cuddles with Harry, and even keeping the Duchess company as she made batches of her famous jam.
“In Memory of Guy,” she captioned the post at the time, while urging followers to “adopt not shop”. Meghan adopted Guy from a kill shelter in Canada in 2015, she told her fans at the time.
“I swooped him up….and fell in love,” she wrote. “They referred to him as ‘the little guy’ because he was so small and frail, so I named him ‘Guy’. And he was the best guy any girl could have asked for.”
The sentimental gift from Harry comes just hours after the second series of Meghan’s lifestyle programme, With Love, Meghan, premiered on Netflix. Within hours of the streaming giant dropping the show, critics widely criticised the new instalment.
The anticipated second season of the show, which follows the equally panned first season that premiered earlier this year, sees Meghan share cooking, crafting, and hosting tips with a range of celebrity pals and experts.
In the second instalment, Meghan is joined by guests such as US model and TV personality Chrissy Teigen and Queer Eye star Tan France, as well as podcaster Jay Shetty and his cookbook author wife Radhi Devlukia. While chefs joining Meghan include Clare Smyth, who runs Core, a three-Michelin star restaurant in London, and Jose Andres, who set up the World Central Kitchen.
Despite the line-up of celebrity figures featuring on the show, critics have shared their scathing reviews of the second series, with many major publications giving the programme a two-star review as they said the show lacks substance, while Meghan comes across as inauthentic.
