A person is in hospital after an incident in Dagenham this afternoon (Tuesday, June 18). An air ambulance can be seen landing at the scene in Heath Park, according to photos shared by residents.
The London Ambulance Service confirmed they rushed to the scene at 1.40pm with an air ambulance to treat two people. One person was taken to hospital and another person declined help.
Residents report that there was a stabbing in the park on Stansgate Road.
Met Police officers can be seen in photos. The force has not yet released a statement.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson told MyLondon: “We were called at 1.40pm on Tuesday 18 June to reports of an incident on Stansgate Road, Dagenham.
“We sent resources to the scene, including an ambulance crew, an incident response officer, paramedics in fast response cars and London’s Air Ambulance.
“We treated one patient at the scene before taking him to hospital. Another patient declined our aid.”
