A points failure has led to disruption at London Euston this evening (Wednesday, June 26).
National Rail says Avanti West Coast services between the station and Wolverhampton / Crewe / Manchester Piccadilly / Edinburgh and London Northwestern Railway between Euston and Tring / Milton Keynes Central / Birmingham New Street / Crewe could be cancelled or delayed.
Information on the operator’s website reads: “Lines have reopened following a points failure at Watford Junction. Trains through this station may still be cancelled, severely delayed by up to 120 minutes or revised.”
Major disruption is expected until the end of the day.
Passengers have been urged to check their journeys using the National Rail Enquiries real-time Journey Planner.
