A crash has closed a section of a major road just north of London of drivers are having to cope with rush hour disruption at an M1 junction. The incident happened yesterday evening (Thursday, July 25).
Inrix is reporting that the A41 is still closed in both directions between M1 J5 (Watford) and Woodmere Avenue due to a police incident. It has been shut southbound since 6pm yesterday, both ways since 8pm.
HCC Highways said on X at 6.31pm yesterday evening (Thursday, July 26): INCIDENT: Watford A41 North Western Avenue. LONG DELAYS in both directions between A412 Dome Rbt and A4008 Stephenson Way due to an RTC.
“Emergency services at the scene.”
