A person is in hospital after an alleged shooting in Peckham yesterday (Wednesday, July 10).
A video shared on X – formerly Twitter – shows a strong large presence with cordons up on a South London street.
The emergency services raced to East Surrey Grove at around 4.50pm.
A person was found at the scene and rushed to hospital.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 4.52pm on Wednesday July 10, to reports of an incident on East Surrey Grove, SE15.
“We sent resources to the scene, including an ambulance crew, an advanced paramedic and an incident response officer. We also dispatched a trauma team in a car from London Air Ambulance, which consisted of a doctor and a paramedic in a car.
“We treated a patient at the scene and took them to a major trauma centre.”
