“Major disruption” is affecting King’s Cross Station this afternoon with delays of up to 90 minutes expected. All lines running through Peterborough are being affected.

Travellers are being told to expect cancellations, severe delays and revisions until 4pm after multiple signalling system faults in the Peterborough area. Trains are running at a reduced speed on all lines.

CrossCountry, EMR, Hull Trains, Grand Central, LNER and Lumo are all affected. Network Rail have attended and were able to resolve the issue but it has now reoccurred. The team have gone back to revisit the issue.

Meanwhile, the Circle line, District line and Metropolitan line are all also currently facing disruption. DLR and London Trams are also facing partial closures.
