Eight tube lines have been hit with delays and closures this morning, with passengers urged to check their routes before travelling. The weekend has seen disruption to the Bakerloo, Metropolitan, Piccadilly, Waterloo & City and Central Underground services, with part closures on the Docklands Light Railway as well as the Mildmay and Windrush Overground lines.

The Bakerloo line has severe delays due to an earlier signal failure at Paddington, while the Central line has been impacted by minor delays due to the unavailability of control room staff. The other six lines are meanwhile all subject to part or full closures.

The entire Metropolitan and Waterloo & City lines are subject to a planned closure this weekend due to engineering works, which have also affected the Piccadilly line between South Harrow and Uxbridge. The Docklands Light Railway has no service between Bank and Tower Gateway, Canning Town and Lewisham, or between Stratford and Canary Wharf.

The Windrush Overground line is shut between Clapham Junction and Surrey Quays and the Mildmay line is suspended between Willesden Junction and Richmond due to a ‘customer incident’.
