Tube passengers are advised to check their journeys this morning as no fewer than ten lines are hit by unexpected delays and planned closures. The Northern Line has minor delays due to train cancellations. The entire Metropolitan line is closed due to planned engineering works, with a partial closure on the Piccadilly line between South Harrow and Uxbridge.
Docklands light Railway is closed this weekend between Lewisham and Stratford, Lewisham and Bank, Canning Town and Tower Gateway and Canning Town and Bank, with replacement buses in operation.
A number of Overground lines have been hit by part closures, including the Lioness Line between Kilburn High Road and Euston; the Mildmay Line from Clapham Junction to Willesden Junction, and Camden Road to Stratford; the Suffragette line from Barking Riverside to Barking, and Barking and Gospel Oak; the Weaver line from Cheshunt to Hackney Downs, and Enfield Town to Hackney Downs; and the Windrush line from Clapham Junction to Surrey Quays.
