The earlier disruption on the M25 has now cleared after a lorry fire near Junction 25 (A10 Enfield) caused major delays throughout the morning.

The anticlockwise carriageway was shut for around three hours from just after 5.30am, before being reduced to a single lane until midday while emergency crews dealt with the aftermath and cleared hay bales from the road.

All lanes have since reopened and traffic has now returned to normal levels. Drivers in the area are no longer facing delays.

The incident began shortly after 5.30am, and while the road was fully closed for more than three hours, one lane was reopened through Junction 25 at around 8.50am.
