There’s a new breed of Roku-powered TVs on sale now in the UK that offer arrival to Amazon’s Fire televisions.
Amazon’s Fire TV Stick and Fire-powered televisions remain some of the most popular streaming devices on the planet but one of the online retailer’s biggest rivals is fighting back. Roku has been taking aim at Amazon’s dominance for a number of years with the firm’s telly-watching gadgets offering a hassle-free way of streaming content.
Now there’s a new breed of Roku-powered TVs launching in the UK and all get a very surprising price.
These Veltech Roku TV models start from just £139 and feature easy access to services such as Disney+, Apple TV+, Netflix, Player and the Roku Channel.
They also get full search, are compatible with both Alexa and the Google Assistant plus iPhone users can cast content from their devices via AirPlay 2 technology.
All Roku TV models are also designed to give users a personalised touch, putting them in control with a simple and customisable home screen.
There are three models to choose from including an entry-level 32-inch screen with an HD panel. Those wanting something a little bigger can opt for the 43-inch X230 telly which gets 4K Ultra HD technology for a crisper image.
