Police have launched a murder investigation after a 21-year-old man was shot dead in West Kensington. Emergency services were called to Comeragh Road at 10.15pm yesterday (Monday, April 1) to reports of a disturbance at an address.
The victim was found with a gunshot wound. Despite being treated by paramedics he sadly died at the scene shortly before 11pm. No arrests have been made as a crime scene remains in place at the scene.
Scotland Yard is appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “Police were called at 10.17pm on Monday, 1 April to reports of a disturbance at a residential address on Comeragh Road, W14.

“Officers and London Ambulance Service attended. At the scene a 21-year-old man was found with a gunshot wound. He was treated by medics at the scene, but despite their efforts he sadly died at the scene at 22.54pm.
“Next of kin have been notified and are being supported by specialist officers. A post mortem examination will be scheduled in due course. At this early stage there have been no arrests. A crime scene remains in place.

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 10.15pm on Monday 1 April to reports of an incident on Comeragh Road, W14. We sent resources to the scene, including an ambulance crew, an advanced paramedic, an incident response officer and members of our tactical response unit.
“Very sadly, despite the best efforts of our crews, a person was pronounced dead at the scene.”
