He will appear at Southend Magistrates’ Court today
A man who allegedly staged an iPhone heist in Essex has also been charged with a similar crime in North London. The 20-year-old man was charged with robbery and attempted robbery after over £30,000 of iPhones 17s were stolen from a Lakeside store.
Avram Stoica, of no fixed abode, is charged with robbing the Apple Lakeside shopping Centre store on September 22, where a suspect took tens of thousands of pounds worth of iPhone 17s.
He is also charged with attempted robbery, following reports of a suspect who attempted to rob an Apple store in Brent Cross, on the same day. Stoica was also charged with two counts of possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
He was remanded in custody to appear at Southend Magistrates’ Court on Monday, November 24.
