Man ‘assaulted’ on DLR train approaching Stratford Station

A man was “assaulted” after a fight broke out on a DLR train approaching Stratford International Station on Friday (August 22). Police have released images of three men they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.

The fight broke out around 10pm on Friday, leading to the assault. An investigation has been launched and police believe the men pictured may have information which could help this.

A spokesperson for the British Transport Police said: “Officers investigating an assault on board a DLR train approaching Stratford International station have today released these images in connection.

“At around 10pm on Friday 22 August a fight broke out on the service and a man was assaulted. Officers believe the men pictured may have information which could help their investigation.”

Anyone who recognises them is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 760 of 22 August. Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
