The man who lives his life dressed as a dog in a £12,500 dog suit has been seen out and about with a fellow human who lives their life as a husky – much to people’s surprise
A man who has chosen to live as a dog in a £12,500 collie costume may have taken things a bit too far.
He’s been spotted frolicking with a mate dressed as a human husky. The YouTuber, known as Toco, first made headlines when he expressed his wish to live life as a dog. He posted peculiar videos of himself engaging in dog-like behaviour, strolling down streets and being petted, even assuring a child that he ‘doesn’t bite’. He’s even befriended some dogs – though real dogs seem unsure.
After a period of silence on his social media accounts, the ‘human dog’ has re-emerged with a furry companion. In Toco’s most recent video, he is seen playing tug of war and dancing with someone in a husky dog suit in odd scenes, reports the Daily Star. Despite his costly and realistic costume, Toco still appears like a person in fancy dress and can now be seen hanging out with another human who also wants to be a dog. It seems he’s found his match.
Posted to his channel ‘I Want To Be An Animal’ and its 70,000-strong followers on the video platform, the video is simply titled ‘POKEDANCE’ as the pair play with a dog toy and perform very human dance moves. The man-sized animal caused a stir when he appeared in public for an interview with a German TV station back in 2022. The interview was filmed last year but uploaded in February.
Previous trips to Tokyo, Japan, have seen Toco the collie being pushed around in a buggy by his “owner”, who looks after him in public and ensures his costume is well-maintained. One viewer commented on the latest video featuring Toco’s companion: “Now it is not I Want To Be An Animal it’s we want to be an animal.”
Others exclaimed: “THERE ARE TWO NOW? ? ?” and “Love the new husky!” A baffled spectator remarked: “This is getting out of hand. Now there are two of them.” An enthusiast wrote: “Aww this is so cute I’m glad you have a husky friend that shares interest.” Another said: “This guy wanted to be a dog so he went and became a dog. That’s admirable. I’m happy you’re following your dreams, and I wish you luck!”.
A critic advised: “A little bit of advice, as a dog, you usually don’t open your arms, which may be because Alaskan dogs are not yet very skilled and a bit unrealistic. Shepherds do it very well” which prompted a witty response from someone clarifying, “It’s a human inside.” However, fans are left with questions. Has Toco simply gained a new pal or has he found romance?
