Man rushed to hospital after being stabbed on busy Harrow road in broad daylight

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the attack

A man aged in his 30s has been arrested following a stabbing in Harrow. Shortly before 4.50pm on Saturday (September 6) police and paramedics rushed to Pinner Road to reports of an attack.

Another man, aged in his 20s, was found with stab injuries and rushed to hospital. The Metropolitan Police has since confirmed his condition is neither life changing or threatening.

The suspect was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and has been bailed. Officers are not looking for anyone else in connection with the stabbing, but anyone with information or CCTV footage has been asked to come forward.

A Met spokesperson said: “At 4.48pm on Saturday, September 6 officers, the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance responded to reports of a stabbing on Pinner Road, Harrow.

“A man in his 20s was found at the scene with stab wounds and was taken to hospital for treatment. His condition has not been deemed life-changing or life-threatening.

“A man in his 30s was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and has since been bailed. No further arrests have been made. An investigation has launched and police continue with enquiries.
