A man has been rushed to hospital after being stabbed in Mayfair near Claridge’s Hotel this morning (Thursday, July 31). Police have reassured the public they are work at a “fast-pace” to catch the person responsible.
The 47-year-old man was found with stab wounds on Brook’s Mews, not far from Claridge’s, at around 7.55am. No arrests have yet been made in connection with the incident.
His injuries are believed to be neither life-threatening nor life-changing. A crime scene remains in place at the scene.
Detective Chief Inspector Anne Linton, from the Central West Command Unit said: “Police were called at 7.55am on Thursday, 31 July to reports of a stabbing on Brook’s Mews, W1K.

“A man aged 47 was treated by the London Ambulance Service for stab wounds and was taken to hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
“An investigation has been launched and a crime scene is currently in place. There have been no arrests at this stage.
“We’d like to reassure the public that officers are carrying out a fast-paced and thorough investigation, and would encourage anyone with information to get in touch.”
