A man has been rushed to hospital following an assault in the dead of night on a North London high street yesterday (Sunday, May 18). Another 29-year-old man has been arrested following the incident.
Ambulance crews rushed a man, in his 20s, to hospital after being “assaulted” on Pinner Road, in Harrow, at around 3.45am in the morning yesterday. His injuries have been assessed as non life-threatening.
Police have arrested another 29-year-old man on suspicion of common assault following the altercation. He remains in police custody.
Another man and woman were also treated at the scene before being rushed to hospital.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called on Sunday 18 May at 3.47am to reports of an incident in Pinner Road, Harrow. We sent resources including ambulance crews and paramedics in fast response cars.
“We treated two men and a woman at the scene before taking them to hospital.”
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police Service said: “A 29-year-old man remains in police custody after he was arrested at the scene on suspicion of common assault following an altercation in Pinner Road, Harrow at 03:45hrs on Sunday, 18 May.
“The victim, a man in his 20s, was taken to hospital by the London Ambulance Service. His condition has been confirmed as non-life-threatening.”
