Detectives have launched a CCTV appeal following a string of daylight sexual assaults in West London. Numerous women, aged 47 to 74, were attacked in the Eastcote area, in Hillingdon, between January 24 and June 15 of this year.

It is believed each shocking incident was carried out by the same man. Police say the creep followed and verbally abused several of the women on the street before blocking their route and violating them.

He is also alleged to have made multiple sexual remarks, and subjected his victims to harassment and stalking. An arrest is yet to be made in the investigation, with the Metropolitan Police now turning to the public for help.

The force has released footage of a man they wish to speak to in connection, and urges anyone who recognises him to come forward. He is described as Black, approximately 5ft 8”, with a slim build.

He appears very well spoken and is thought to be aged between 15 and 21. He has worn a black rucksack during three of the incidents and often wears dark coloured clothing.

Anyone who believes they saw – or know – the man pictured is urged to contact police on 101, quoting 01/7092055/25. Anonymous reports can also be made to Crimestoppers via 0800 555 111 or the charity’s website.
