Making a bit of extra money on the side is easy according to one man on TikTok, as he showed how he purchases containers and turns them into cold hard profit for himself

We all want to make a little extra cash from time to time, but it can sometimes feel impossible to know where to start with it.

But one man on TikTok is showing that it’s something you can do, sharing that it’s easier than you might believe it is to flip items and make a profit on them.

@thelarsborn shared a “day in the life” video of him “flipping furniture”, explaining what he does to make an almost £300 profit on items that are bought in containers – and others were left wondering how they could do the same thing.

Lars explained that he “should be pulling in £275 of revenue” on the furniture flipping he’d be doing that today, saying that he was “happy about it” and “excited” to get a profit.

In the video, he could then be seen opening the container that he’d purchased, revealing a brown sofa, which he then put in his van – which he lives “full time” in.

He then drove off with the sofa, taking it a “28-minute drive” away – “Then we’re going to get the money, woo!”, he cheered. Lars then showed off the money he managed to bag from selling the sofa, saying: “Always go the extra mile” if you want to make a profit.

In the comments, people had questions for Lars, with one asking: “How much did the container cost you?”, and he replied “£152 a month”.

Another left a not-so-pleasant comment, penning: “Pictures must have done it justice looks done in.” Lars replied: “If you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all”. The commenter said: “Only being honest fella”, but another TikToker jumped to his defence, writing: “Person wouldn’t have bought it if they thought it was no good would they?”
