A man was rushed to hospital after being attacked and robbed by a group of men in central London. The victim was assaulted by the gang in Bateman Street, in Soho, at about 1.35am on Sunday (July 7) morning.
Met Police said the man, who is in his 30s, had his phone stolen by the group, and suffered serious head injuries.
He was taken to hospital where his condition is not considered life-threatening, but could potentially be life-changing.

An investigation is under way, led by CID officers based at Charing Cross police station. There has been no arrest at this early stage.
