D’Angelo Savage has shed an incredible 255lbs (116kg) in a stunning body transformation – he claims he used to be rejected by potential partners, but that is no longer the case
A man who claims he was rejected before embarking on a weight loss journey has showcased his stunning transformation for all to see.
Taking to Instagram, D’Angelo Savage shared a video montage revealing the staggering progress he has made, which has led to him becoming a personal fitness coach. Now aiding others, D’Angelo’s account bio reveals he has lost 255lbs (116kg) – dropping from 429lbs to 174lbs.
His efforts have resulted in him gaining more than 64,000 followers on the social media platform, such is his inspiration. “Wait for it,” D’Angelo declares at the beginning of this latest clip – which kicks off with a topless mirror selfie taken at the peak of his size.
“Sorry you’re not my type,” a caption reads. A second shot then shows the early stages of D’Angelo’s journey and adds: “Still not.” Mid-transformation, a third photo highlights small progress as D’Angelo stands beaming from ear to ear, along with another negative caption: “No.”
The video then switches to new footage of D’Angelo appearing unrecognisable from those still images as he pumps iron in the gym. It prompted one male fan to hail his attitude in response: “So others’ ‘not my type’ comment helped you to heal from obesity. This is a paradigmatic strong man’s example of turning something bad in something good.”
A female follower added: “You looked handsome before, but the glow up is real! You look stunning and super healthy now! And you are an amazing testament to what the mind, body and spirit can do with hard work and belief! Much respect and admiration!”
Asked about his initial diet plan, meanwhile, D’Angelo explained: “I detoxed before I jumped into any diet! You have to first cleanse the body and soul is my belief, and that’s even what my entire program is based around.”
Another person asked: “Quick question, did you lift and do cardio at the same time in conjunction with changing your nutrition or did you start with cardio and then eventually switch over to weights after losing weight?” To which D’Angelo explained: “Eventually switched over to weights.”
Others suggested that, given D’Angelo’s transformation, it’ll now be him rejecting others. “By the time he becomes your type he will no longer think you are his type,” one woman gushed. Whilst a second concurred: “And now you can say, ‘You are not my type’ because now, she doesn‘t deserve you!”
