Police have released images of males they believe could help their investigation
Police have released an image they would like to speak to after an ‘assault and robbery’ on a DLR station platform. At around 8pm on Wednesday, August 6, a 15-year-old boy disembarked a train at Prince Regent DLR station in East London.
He was then approached by two young men. One of them allegedly snatched his phone and assaulted him, while the other restrained him. The boy tried to get his phone back before the pair fled.
British Transport Police (BTP) has now released two images of males they believe could have information that may help their investigation.
Anyone who recognises them is asked to text BTP via 61016, or call 0800 40 50 40, using the reference 590 of 6 August. Information can also be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 500 111.
A spokesperson for BTP said: “Police investigating the assault and robbery of a teenager in east London have released these images in connection. “At around 8pm on Wednesday 6 August a 15-year-old boy left a train at Prince Regent DLR Station when he was approached by two young men. One of them snatched his phone and assaulted him, while the other restrained him as the boy tried to get his phone back before the pair fled.
“Officers believe the males in the images could have information that may assist their enquiries.”
