Manor Park bus crash live as double decker with 20 passengers smashes into shop

A major road in East London is closed following a horror bus crash this morning (Thursday, November 6). A person has been rushed to hospital following the crash of a 474 bus which has smashed into a shop along Station Road in Manor Park.

Around 20 people were understood to have been on the bus at the time of scary collision. A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We sent resources, including an ambulance crew, an incident response officer, a paramedic in a fast response car and paramedics from our hazardous area response team (HART). Our first paramedic arrived on scene in less than five minutes. We treated a patient and took them to hospital.”

London bus routes 101, 304, 474 and W19 are being diverted.
