A man has been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter after a man in his 20s died on the tracks at a London Underground station. British Transport Police (BTP) and London Ambulance Service (LAS) paramedics were called to reports of a casualty on the tracks at East Acton station just after 11pm on Friday, April 19.
The man in his 20s, from the Waltham Forest area, was pronounced dead at the scene. His family are being supported by specialist officers.
A man in his 40s has been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter and has been bailed with conditions. BTP detectives are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.

British Transport Police continue to investigate the circumstances leading up to the young man’s death. Additional, high-visibility reassurance patrols are also ongoing in the area.
