Masked men ‘holding weapons’ break into Hillingdon couple’s house in night-time burglary

Two masked men holding weapons broke into a Hillingdon couple’s house and robbed them in the night. Mohamed Alhadad, 36, of Christchurch Avenue, Brent and Ibrahim Alshaba, 27, of Scrubs Lane, Hammersmith and Fulham, were sentenced to more than a combined 14 years for their crimes.

The two men, wearing masks and holding weapons, had broken into the house of their sleeping victims in May 2022. They had then threatened them and demanded they hand over their belongings.

Alhadad and Alshaba had then made off with the stolen belongings and cash, leaving the couple feeling distressed. The pair were arrested shortly after the incident and sentenced on May 21 at Isleworth Crown Court.

Mohamed Alhadad was jailed for eight years with an extended licence of three years. Ibrahim Alshaba was jailed for six years and nine months with an extended licence of 3 years.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police Service said: “In May 2022, the victims of an aggravated burglary were asleep in their bed when they were threatened by by two men during a burglary at their home.

“The masked males threatened the couple whilst holding weapons and demanded them to hand over their belongings. The males made of with a number of stolen belongings & cash during the harrowing ordeal which was incredibly distressing for the couple.

“Shortly after the incident, two males were arrested and sentenced on the 21st May 2025 at Isleworth Crown Court.”
