McDonald’s just dropped its latest menu, featuring a slew of discontinued items slated to make a triumphant return. However, swathes of fans aren’t happy their favourite burger is still missing from menus

McDonald’s is bringing back a range of previously axed items – but not everybody is impressed.

The fast food chain confirmed yesterday its new menu will launch nationwide on April 17, and will be available for a ‘limited time’. Customers will be able to get their hands on the iconic Biscoff McFlurry (£1.99) – which was discontinued just six weeks after its debut in 2023.

Other products making a triumphant return include the beloved Galaxy McFlurry and Galaxy Caramel Pie. Both chocolate treats are priced at £1.99. A brand new Biscoff Frappe (£2.99), which features caramel-flavoured cream and biscuit topping, will also hit stores this month.

If you’ve not got much of a sweet tooth, don’t worry, as the chain is bringing back one of it’s most iconic burgers – but it isn’t the one fans wanted the most…

The Chicken Big Mac (£4.69) is gracing our menus once again: a triple-layered bun featuring two chicken breast patties in a crispy coating, cheese, lettuce, pickles, and Big Mac sauce. The new Quarter Pounder Deluxe (£4.89) and Cheese and Herb Melts (£2.89) will also hit stores in the coming weeks.

However, disappointed customers flocked to social media to express their outrage that two of the chain’s most beloved axed burgers weren’t making a comeback. In fact, many Facebook users described the Chicken Legend burger as the ‘best thing on the menu to date’, arguing it needs to be re-released.

“No one likes the chicken Big Mac! Bring back the chicken legend!” one person wrote.” Another agreed, commenting: “Bring the CHICKEN LEGEND BACK!”

Meanwhile, swathes of customers started demanding the Big Tasty not only return to stores – but become a permanent fixture on the menu. The discontinued burger features a 100 per cent beef patty, cheese made with emmental, onions, juicy tomatoes, and smoky sauce on a freshly toasted bun.

“Bring back the big tasty. Should be on the menu all the time it’s the best one they do,” one customer pleased. “Big tasty should always be on the menu,” another wrote. While a third added: “Forget all of that bring the Big Tasty back Permanently lol.”
