Meghan Markle has received a very generous offer to be the face of her own radio programme after candid comments made in her Netflix show
Meghan Markle has received a very generous offer to host her own radio show in the UK after making a strange comment about one very specific thing she misses from her time living in England.
The offer comes after the Duchess of Sussex made a surprise declaration during an episode of her Netflix programme, in which she expressed her love for UK radio shows, confessing that MagicFM radio in particular is “one of the things I miss most about the UK”.
Now, MagicFM and Absolute Radio content director Paul Sylvester has extended a generous invitation for the Duchess of Sussex to come and host her own show.

“The offer is on the table: if the Duchess wants to host a show, she’s very welcome,” Paul said while speaking at a Radio Centre event.
MagicFM currently hosts famous celebrity presenters such as singer Ronan Keating and ex-All Saints singer Nicole Appleton among its ranks.
Meghan made the unusual declaration about her love for UK radio stations while cooking alongside Queer Eye star Tan France, who originally hails from Doncaster, on the second series of her Netflix programme With Love, Meghan.
“Honestly, what I miss most about the UK, the radio stations, Magic,” Meghan said during the third episode of the show. “Magic FM?” France asked. After Meghan confirmed that was what she meant, he laughed and jokingly called her a “grandma”.
“Magic FM? Wow. Sorry to say this to you so publicly, but that’s such a grandma station,” he said.
Some of Meghan’s most loyal fans reacted to the offer from Paul Sylvester, with many saying it would be a great idea for the Duchess to have a regular radio show.
One wrote: “You should offer her to do a playlist that u play her selection and call it the Meghan Hour it something! She is good at choosing music!” Another said: “Hope she takes up their offer!”
The Duchess of Sussex shared her love of music on Instagram, saying it was “part of how we kept the vibe alive” on the set of With Love, Meghan. “Filming season two of With Love, Meghan was more fun than you can imagine,” she wrote in an Instagram caption, accompanied by a list of her favourite songs.
“Part of how we kept the vibe alive? Music. Between setups, I would play a song from my phone, and today I wanted to share some of the favourites I kept on rotation! Add them to your playlist, press shuffle, and enjoy!”
