It was recently revealed that the photos of Meghan Markle reading to children at a Los Angeles hospital were taken hours before Kate Middleton shared her cancer diagnosis
Photos of Meghan Markle recently emerged of her reading to children at a Los Angeles hospital.
However, the photos were taken a week and a half ago, hours before the Princess of Wales Kate Middleton would make her cancer diagnosis announcement. This led to the theory that the Duchess of Sussex held onto the photos for a bit in order to give Kate her time.
Meghan stopped by the Los Angeles Children’s Hospital on March 21, showing off her acting skills as she read books like Rosie the Riveter, Pete the Cat, and I Saw a Cat. The next day, Kate’s video statement about undergoing preventative chemotherapy was released.

Photos from Meghan’s visit didn’t emerge until April 2. When Kate’s statement was made, both Meghan and her husband Prince Harry released a statement wishing her the best.
“We wish health and healing for Kate and the family, and hope they are able to do so privately and in peace,” a spokesperson for the couple said.
Recently it was announced that Meghan wouldn’t appear on a Suits podcast due to the cast having “no communication” with their former co-star. Patrick J. Adams and Sarah Rafferty, who played Mike Ross and Donna Paulson on the show respectively, have been working with SiriusXM to create a podcast about their legal drama.
In podcasts that cover television shows, typically the hosts will reveal inside information and behind the scenes secrets about the show. To enhance the listening experience, guest stars will make appearances that are typically actors, writers, or directors involved in the show.
But it appears Meghan won’t be on the show, since various cast members claimed that they haven’t spoken to her since her wedding to Prince Harry in 2018. In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Patrick was asked if he spoke to his character’s former love interest to which he responded: “Zero, No, no communication.”
In another interview with Radio Times, Patrick admitted he was too “intimidated” to reach out to the Duchess of Sussex. “I guess I’m scared about the idea of breaking through whatever walls exist to have that conversation,” he said, “After our children were born, there were some texts sent and gifts sent, but I guess I’m a little scared. I think it’s pure fear.”
