Meghan Markle’s own lifestyle brand sent her a gushing birthday message as she celebrated turning 44.

The Duchess of Sussex marked her birthday yesterday but has been completely silent on her own Instagram account for almost a month. But to mark her special day, her As Ever lifestyle brand shared a new image of Meghan smiling as he wears a dress and sun hat in the garden.

The message to Meghan read: “Celebrating the woman behind it all. She pours her heart, vision and magic touch into every detail, and today, we raise a glass to her! Happy birthday to our founder.” It comes after claims Prince Harry ‘admits he is still part of the Royal Family and finally sees sense’.

Meanwhile, As Ever wasn’t the only Instagram account to share unseen photos of Meghan as many of her celebrity pals took to the platfrom to wish her a happy birthday.

Among them was her Suits co-star Abigail Spencer, who featured on the Netflix show With Love, Meghan with her pal. Sharing a selection of snaps of them together, Abigail wrote: “As glorious as the day I met you. Champagne in human form. A creature unlike any other. Thank you for being a sister in this life, and beyond. Words can’t capture. From the rooftops. So grateful for your life, @meghan. Thanks for saving mine. Love, Abs.

And in a rare comment, Meghan replied: “Thank you, sweet Abs! Right back at you, and happy birthday to YOU!”

Jamie Kern Lima, who invited Meghan on to her podcast also shared a snap of the pair with the message: “Happy Birthday @meghan Wonder had so much fun making this for you! Can’t wait to see what we learn on Season 2 of your show! Thank you for being love, light and such a generous friend to everyone you meet!”

Fellow pal Tracy Robbins posted a photo of her and Meghan enjoying cocktails with the message: “Happy birthday my dear @meghan Oh how I can laugh and dance with you like no other. You are sunshine in a bottle! Thank you for always making time to be such a loving and connected friend no matter what’s going on in your life. You dance through this life with so much grace, light and love! I hope your wee posse of 3 are smothering you with hugs and kisses today my dear! Happiest of birthdays M!’

While her make-up artist Daniel Martin, who also appeared in With Love, Meghan, wrote: “HBD sis!” alongside a snap of Meghan with her dog Mia.

It is not known exactly how Meghan marked her birthday but it is likely that any celebrations would have included her husband Prince Harry as well as their children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. At the weekend she joined Harry at the beach near their home as they watched six-year-old Archie take part in a surfing lesson.

The past 12 months have marked many major changes for Meghan, especially since the dawn of 2025, with the launch of her new Instagram account, lifestyle brand as well as her Netflix cookery show.

However, one thing has remained – Meghan and Prince Harry’s long-running rift with the Royal Family following their dramatic departure from the Firm. It comes as news that Harry will ‘never be forgiven’ by two major royals despite reconciliation hope.

And for royal expert Jennie Bond, while Harry will be keen to make his wife’s special day as memorable as it can be, she believes the same can’t be said for the rest of the Royal Family.

The former BBC royal correspondent told the Mirror: “I definitely thought that being 44 was a bit of a nondescript birthday, not particularly worthy of a special celebration. But I’m sure that Harry will want to make a fuss of his wife on her special day.

“As far as I can see, he is still head over heels in love with Meghan and will probably organise a romantic dinner or perhaps a beach party with friends and lots of children to celebrate their happy family life in California. Maybe a sunrise yoga session would set the day up rather nicely!

“I don’t think Meghan should hold her breath for birthday messages from the Royal family, though it may well be that Princess Eugenie- and possibly Beatrice – will send a present or a card.”

Meghan’s small hiatus from social media comes despite her lifestyle brand As Ever continues to post on the platform, with announcement last week she will be selling another batch of her rose wine.

And Jennie added: “I think Meghan deserves to be pretty happy with how this year has gone so far. Whatever she does or says gets slammed in the media, but she has built up a substantial social media following in very little time, the products that she endorses or sells seem to do exceptionally well, and her TV and podcast shows — although clearly not ground breaking – – are perfectly watchable, however much her critics like to pan them.”
