Meghan Markle is about to embark on a new career with the announcement of her new lifestyle brand American Riviera Orchard – and a body language expert has explained why now is the perfect time to launch her new project
Meghan Markle’s new career move will see her get the double boost she’s been searching for having undergone a subtle change since quitting the Royal Family, an expert has claimed.
The Duchess of Sussex revealed last month the brand new website and Instagram account for her lifestyle brand and business venture American Riviera Orchard. The social media page was launched with a vintage-style video of Meghan cooking and arranging white hydrangeas and roses. The brief video is set to Nancy Wilson’s I Wish You Love and closes with the brand’s logo, American Riviera Orchard, written in fine gold script above the word Montecito – a celebrity enclave near Santa Barbara in California where she and Prince Harry live.
Little information has been released about American Riviera Orchard, but a trademark application filed on February 2 this year shows the company wishes to offer downloadable and printed recipe books, tablewear, textiles, and jams and marmalades, according to the United States Patent and Trademark Office website.
And according to body language expert Darren Stanton, this new move for Meghan tells a lot about the place she is in and will be beneficial for two reasons. Speaking on behalf of Betfair Bingo, he said: “The fact that Meghan is launching a new lifestyle brand tells us she’s in a good place and feels motivated. It’s a natural transition for her to embark on. Meghan has a voice and wants to use it in a good positive way to help women feel empowered and heard in today’s society. She has a real skill in connecting with people effortlessly.
“She has a huge following and there is a clear interest in what Meghan does with her life going forward. I believe Meghan will go from strength to strength when building her new brand. It’s been a turbulent few years, but now she’s returning with a purpose that gives her fulfilment – and has found her feet with finding the right path she wants to go down. Her new brand will give her that boost of inner confidence and power that she’s been searching for.”
Meawhile Darren added that while Meghan has always been confident, however, he explained that in recent years, she has developed another trait which will help her in her new venture. He explained: “When we look at how Meghan has developed over the years she’s been by Prince Harry’s side, she has always been confident and headstrong. Her levels of confidence have grown from fronting events alone as well as alongside Harry, including the Invictus Games.
“When we see Meghan speak to the public or the press in appearances, she is supremely confident. What has been most noticeable about Meghan in the past few years is that her levels of resilience have also developed. Her speech is at a neutral tone, which tells us she feels certain with hardly any nerves creeping in.
“It also suggests she’s comfortable in her own skin and feels empowered and willing to take things on independently. When we see her being photographed in recent outings, she holds her head high with her shoulders back – and that tells us she feels strong and good about herself.”
