The Met Office is forecasting a very miserable July with long spells of rain due soon. The UK’s national forecaster made the depressing revelation in its long-range forecast which runs from Friday, June 21, until Friday, July 5.
Part of the depressing forecast reads: “All areas can expect to see some spells of drier, sunnier weather but there will also be showers or longer spells of rain at times. Temperatures are most likely to be close to normal or slightly above.”
Although it doesn’t specify that it will be raining cats and dogs for the whole of July, it’s fair to say the forecast wasn’t quite what we were hoping for.
