London has felt very clammy during the last couple of nights, and the humidity is showing no signs of disappearing. Humidity is a measurement of the amount of water vapour in the air, and weather forecasters such as the Met Office include it in their detailed summaries.
London is set for another week of sticky days and evenings according to the Met Office. The Government’s official forecaster says there will be times when humidity gets up to 90 per cent in the city.
The stickiest times will be 4am-7am on Tuesday, when there will be 90 per cent humidity, and Thursday around 7am when there will be 87 per cent humidity.
