People have been left amazed after looking at a puzzle and seeing the hidden image within the picture since following the instructions.
Looking at optical illusions and brainteasers is a fantastic way to keep your mind sharp, and the more you complete, the easier they get. Sharing a ‘magic eye’ style optical illusion on Reddit’s ‘Optical Illusion’ forum, a person asked what it was.
The illusion urges you to “put your nose to the screen”, then “stare at the image for several seconds”. After you must “start to pull back slowly and notice what appears” – but can you see the hidden image in the picture of flowers?
Make sure you follow the instructions. Someone commented: “These were insanely popular in the 90s. Magic Eye is how I knew them.”
Another replied: “I was always so good at these back in the day when they were in paper or poster form, but I can’t see the ones people post now on screens for some reason. Probably doesn’t help that my phone has a big crack in the middle lol.”
If you’re struggling to see it, one Redditor said: “Practice by alternating between focusing on your finger in front of your face, and then a wall behind it, and back and forth. It’s the lateral movement of your eyes and specifically the refocusing action you need.”
Someone responded: “Oh nice trick I never knew that. My strategy was always cross my eyes until you see the inverse image so I could at least not the outline which made it easier to see it the real way.”
Another person said the advice really helped them, sharing: “Dude! I have never, ever been able to see these things no matter how hard I tried. But I just used your advice and can see one for the first time ever! Thank you! (Everyone else saw a butterfly, right?)”
A second added: “Thanks, man. Tried the finger trick, and now I can see the butterfly. I was starting to get bummed that I couldn’t make it work.”
