From Disney’s Jessica Rabbit, to Scooby Doo’s hunk Freddy – many of us have harmless guilty crushes on our favourite animated TV stars. But now, one girlfriend has taken her fascination to another level, after screaming the name of a cartoon hero during sex.
The painfully awkward situation unravelled just yesterday when a ’28-year-old man’ claimed he’d been frisky with his partner earlier that morning. Just when he thought it was all going quite well, his girlfriend began to yell the three-letter name over and over – leaving him utterly baffled.
“At one point she screams out ‘give it to me Ben’ – my name isn’t Ben,” the man confessed anonymously on Reddit. “She then pauses and says ’10, give it to me Ben 10, oh yeah you like f***ing Gwen don’t you?’.”
When it was all over, his girlfriend was apparently very ’embarrassed’, but admitted there was something she hadn’t told him yet. He explained: “She admitted to me that she has a huge thing for Ben 10 as he was her first crush as a kid.”
For those unaware, Ben 10 is an American cartoon sci-fi series in which a 16-year-old boy wears a powerful watch that transforms him into 10 different aliens. Alongside his cousin Gwen and grandad, Max, they aim to fight against evil forces in the universe.
Despite his girlfriend’s awkward admission, the nameless man wondered if the Ben 10 blunder was all one big lie. Notably, she said ‘give it to me Ben’ first, before any mention of the TV hero, so he thought it could be a quick-thinking cover-up.
He continued: “I think she might he lying and there might be some Ben out there. Am I crazy?” Unsurprisingly, the anonymous confession was quick to rack up hundreds of comments on the platform, with many users chipping in to dish out some advice.
Humorously, one person wrote: “I say lean into it. Gwen themed lingerie as a gift, wear a watch for sex and occasionally slap it, sexfully. It’s sure to get a reaction, either way. And if she really does have this fetish, it could be seriously amazing.”
Another added: “If she owns any Ben 10 merchandise or has a Ben 10 phone wallpaper, ANYTHING of the sort then she’s likely telling the truth. Does she?” Someone else also chimed in: “I really want her to be telling the truth, it’s funnier this way.”
