A resident who complained of their neighbour being strange for years has finally caught evidence on camera. The furious homeowner was trying to deal with a neighbour from hell for some time, and it’s not until a camera picked up the weird act that they’ve gotten clear proof of the strange interactions.

The anonymous member of the public had been living in their apartment for four and a half years, and says their neighbour started “acting strangely” from the moment they moved in. From “panic” across the years to a Halloween horror show, the neighbour has finally been dealt with thanks to a well-placed camera.

The problem was not just their constant horrible interactions but that they played the “nice” neighbour for as long as they could. The unnamed resident, who took to the r/NeighboursfromHell Reddit page, explained: “I moved into my apartment 4.5 years ago with my (at the time) infant child. My neighbour started acting strangely as soon as I moved in.

“If I didn’t answer her knock at the door because I was in the middle of something, like feeding my child, she’d pound on my back door until I answered. Against my better judgement, she asked if we wanted to go to a store nearby with her.

“I agreed, and after we were done at the store I put my child in the car seat behind her drivers seat, and as I walked to the other side to get in the passenger seat, she locked the doors so I couldn’t get in and did something to my child that made them wail uncontrollably.

“Talk about panic! She finally unlocked my door that I began pounding on, and I was trying to sing to my baby to get them to calm down.” Another incident on Halloween saw the neighbour ignore the “take one bag” sign and make off with all the sweets.

The furious neighbour continued: “I don’t know why management here won’t do anything about her. The things I mentioned are really the tip of the iceberg, she’s also allowed homeless people to camp out in her parking spot, she has visitors living there that aren’t on the rental agreement, constant traffic when we are supposed to have a parking permit to park in the parking lot.

“She’s a super miserable human being and I know karma will get her eventually but I don’t understand why management doesn’t care about any of her lease breaking habits.”

Members of the public have since offered the same advice, catch the neighbour out and submit the evidence to police.

One person wrote: “Catch her stealing packages and report that to the police. That said if you knew you lived by a thief why would you put something out and could take? Have you heard of glitter bombs?”

Another added: “How did you not call the police during the shopping incident? She kidnapped and harmed your son.”

A third said: “You need to stick a package outside your door. Do it super early, before she wakes up.

“Put something nasty in the package. A guy put his kitty litter in a box, everyday someone would steal it. He would watch them on the camera. Catch her stealing it.”
