We’ll have a few days of respite from the rain before grim weather sets in
After a decent summer, London’s autumn weather has bared its teeth. We’re currently in the midst of a yellow weather warning for rain that the Met Office has warned could even cause flood damage in some corners of the city.
The rain’s set to ease off early tomorrow morning (Saturday, November 15), and after that we’ll get some sun poking through the clouds for a few days. From Wednesday (November 19), however, we’ll get a real glimpse at what’s to come when winter properly sets in.
Until Thursday November 27, we’ll be getting rain and/or sleet every day. That’s a full nine days of rainfall. The sleet will come on November 20 in ‘showers’, according to BBC Weather, with temperature highs dipping to 6C.
Temperatures are a bit all over the place, with next week seeing a sharp decline before the week after sees them rise to around the 10C/11C mark again.
It’s this coming Monday (November 17) and Tuesday (November 18) that we’ll likely see some sunshine, so if you were planning on getting out and about to Christmas markets, then might be the time. If you need a hand picking from London’s massive array, we’ve got you covered.
