Next shoppers say this affordable outfit is a summer holiday essential. Plenty of women have shared how versatile it could be, easily transitioning from lounging on a beach to city sightseeing.
Next’s Bandeau Shirred Playsuit comes in 11 different patterns and prints, and prices range from £18 to £25, depending on your style choice. It is described online as “the perfect piece to take away with you on holidays.” The playsuit ‘seamlessly blends comfort and style’.
It is made from a ‘soft’ and ‘stretchy’ cotton material and is designed to be a ‘breathable’ strapless piece. Shoppers say they complete the look with some comfy sandals or trainers and a pair of sunglasses for an ‘effortless’ holiday outfit. There are 11 different versions to choose from, including black, blue, blue wash, natural/pink, pink, pink/orange, red/green, rose pink, sage green, teal blue and white floral.

Next says that this product has a “looser fit than usual”, with two to choose from (regular and petite), which makes it ideal to wear in hot weather. A few people in the reviews suggested dropping down a size from their usual if this isn’t something they’d like.

However, Next shoppers clearly loved the Bandeau Shirred Playsuit, according to the glowing online reviews.
The colour option with the most reviews is the Natural/Pink Bandeau Shirred Playsuit, which costs £24 and features a ‘delicate’ floral pattern. One shopper said: “This is perfect for holidays. No strap marks, easy to get on and off, various designs and colours, in fact I’ve ordered another one for my next holiday. So light and great to wear I’m a standard 14 but that was too big, reordered a 12 and fits perfectly. Very stretchy due to the shirring so size down.”
A second said: “Gorgeous, fits fabulously.” A third put: “Nice material and the pattern is great not too bold great for summer.” A fourth admitted to buying a few already, writing: “Great I brought 2 in different colours,very comfortable and feels good to wear.”
However, someone else said: “The pattern is not as nice as it looked online. Really dark. Material really thick not what you want for going abroad. Sent back.
