Oasis fans still on the hunt for tickets to the band’s Oasis Live ’25 gigs may be tempted by the myriad of second-hand ticket offers online. However, not all these offers are genuine, with many coming from unverified brands and individual scammers on social media.
Resale ticket platform StubHub has conducted new research into the risk of fake ticket scams for the upcoming Oasis concerts. The findings, at the time of writing, are rather alarming.
Londoners are the second most likely group of fans to fall prey to online fraudsters, coming just behind those in Leeds. What’s more, the hardest hit demographic is set to be Gen Z, who makeup the largest proportion of the expected audience at the shows.
Nearly a third (32 percent) of UK music fans resort to seeking last-minute gig tickets on social media. Alarmingly, almost two in five (38 percent) could potentially be duped by counterfeit ticket adverts on these platforms, reports the Express.
Almost half of Gen Z respondents (47 percent) confessed they’ve previously been scammed by fraudsters on social media. In light of this, fans are urged to purchase resale tickets from either official sellers or reputable resale websites such as StubHub, viagogo, and Vivid Seats.

Sites such as viagogo, Stubhub, and Vivid Seats allow fans to buy resale tickets from other fans. However, it is important to note that ticket conditions often prohibit resale after initial purchase. Those tickets may not be valid for admittance to gigs.
Fans intending to buy tickets for live events through resale websites should check the ticket terms and conditions, to confirm whether resale is prohibited, before they buy. Ticket terms and conditions can be checked with the original seller, such as Ticketmaster or Live Nation. If resale is prohibited, tickets bought second-hand could be voided and admission to the event refused.

Oasis tickets can currently be purchased through several online resale retailers. This includes the aforementioned viagogo, StubHub, and Vivid Seats.
Devoted fans can snap up tickets to the highly anticipated event through various resale websites, which offer a platform for buying and selling tickets at their convenience. These sites provide an opportunity to secure the perfect seated or standing tickets.
Although not officially affiliated, websites like viagogo currently have hundreds of tickets available for purchase, whereas the official resale site, Twickets, has none.
