Paddington ‘crash’ LIVE as man rushed to hospital with ‘head injury’

A man has been rushed to hospital with a head injury as a priority following a car crash in Paddington this evening (Sunday, June 29).

Paramedics rushed to reports of a crash in A4209 Sussex Gardens at around 9pm yesterday evening.

He was treated for a head injury before being taken to a major trauma centre as a priority.

The road was closed between Norfolk Crescent and Southwick Street at around 9.30pm yesterday but it has since reopened.

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 9.07pm on Sunday 29 June to reports of a road traffic collision on Sussex Gardens, W2.

“We sent resources to the scene, including an ambulance crew, paramedics in fast response cars, an advanced paramedic and an incident response officer.

“Our first paramedic arrived on scene in less than two minutes.

“We treated a man for a head injury and took him to a major trauma centre as a priority.”
