Social media influencer Nasrin Corfield Smith made headlines for undergoing an “invasive” procedure which fans said left her ‘deformed’ – now she revealed where she would draw the line
An influencer who underwent an “invasive” procedure which divided social media users revealed where she would draw the line when it comes to plastic surgery.
Nasrin Corfield Smith runs the Aesthetic Clinic in London and regularly shares information about going under the knife to TikTok. The 38-year-old previously caused a stir when she revealed she had “cat’s eyes” surgery, which some users said left her face “deformed”.
In a video published to the platform last year, she showed off the effects of a rather painful-looking procedure, with bruises around her eyes. The practitioner who carried out the surgery, Dr Hakan Ozocak, said: “This surgery is called cat’s eyes and is used to lift the corners of the eyes and do a cheek lift in order to lift the middle of the face and the cheeks.”
But fans weren’t keen on the new look. One wrote: “It looks like she is suffering from an allergy. Ew,” while another chimed in: “[It’s] not normal for a doctor to be so invasive.” But while Nasrin’s procedure may have seemed drastic, she now revealed she has her limits.
Now, in a new video to the tune of Somethin’ Stupid by Frank and Nancy Sinatra, she said: “And then I go and spoil it all by saying something stupid like I’m really sorry that we can’t do your lips today, and I know that you’ve travelled and you’ve been so excited, however I wanna be completely honest with you.
“Your lips are completely full, there is no space in your lips, they [the filler] are gonna migrate, they’re gonna distort the shape of your lips and they’re not gonna make you look more beautiful.
“So based on that, it’s unethical for me to treat you today. If there’s any other treatments that you wanna talk about and discuss, let’s do that now, or if not, if you want to go away and take some time to think about it because that wasn’t the initial treatment you wanted to do today, I think that might be a better idea.”
She captioned the clip: “I place great importance on integrity, often saying “no” when a procedure isn’t in your best interest – because your needs come first, always.” Fans were quick to comment on the clip, with one writing: “Girl more practitioners should be like this x.”
Another added: “I would so love someone like you to be my injector, you’re so ethical!” Nasrin previously said she ignored 10 doctors who warned her against getting bum implants, and how she’s been left traumatised by the results.
The beautician confessed to becoming addicted to lip fillers when she was 18. She said she got hooked to the injections which helped to ease her crippling insecurities.
