Optical illusions can do magical things to your brain and even eyesight. Now the latest image to trick minds over on Reddit has left people utterly stumped, can you see why?

These kind of images can occur when your brain interprets visual information in a way which doesn’t match the actual physical properties of the object or scene. And these exploit the way your mind processes this information, leading to misinterpretation.
In many cases, optical illusions can even determine your “strength” based on what you see first, while only eagle-eyed people are able to spot certain detail in others. Now the latest optical illusion on Reddit might just blow your mind.
Posted on the r/opticalillusions forum, one user shared an image showing “identical twins”. It shows two images next to each other, which are supposedly the same, but it’s safe to say it’s confusing many people online.

In the photo, which scooped 2,000 upvotes, it shows a piece of wood with markings, then the one next to it looks like it’s been mirrored. But that’s where you’re wrong.
According to the message on the illusion, the image on the left and the right are identical, just rotated. And many people on the Reddit forum couldn’t simply believe it with many rushing to the comments section to share their opinion.
One said: “What’s crazy is that when I rotate it, they stay the same until I look away and look back.” While another added: “Genius,” and a third commented: “I can’t even force my brain to see it right.”
