Lines reopened but trains disrupted
National Rail is reporting that lines have reopened after the incident, but services may still be delayed, cancelled or revised.
The operator said: “We were informed earlier of a person being struck by a train between Surbiton and Woking and power to the running lines was switched off, which meant the lines were blocked between the affected area.
“Power to the running lines have now been recharged and all lines have now reopened, however some services may be delayed, cancelled or revised whilst normal service resumes.”
