The Metropolitan Police have released an E-fit image of the suspect
The Metropolitan Police has issued an appeal to the public. They are seeking information after a man exposed himself in Lesnes Abbey Woods in Bexley on Tuesday, September 2. The man was spotted walking through wooded areas and along paths before he reached Abbey Road to the north of the woods.
The man is described as Black and six feet tall with a large, muscular build and very short hair. Metropolitan Police detectives have created an e-fit image of the suspect’s likeness. Any witnesses are asked to come forward and share information with the police.
Detective Constable Katie McGinn, who is leading this investigation, said: “We understand the impact hearing about this incident will have on the local community, particularly regular visitors and young families who come to Lesnes Abbey Woods.
“We are determined to identify the suspect and are calling on anyone who frequents Lesnes Abbey Woods to share information.
“Were you in or around the area on Saturday, 2 September? Did you see anything out of the ordinary? Do you remember seeing any individual who looks similar to the e-fit? If so, please do come forward. Contact us by calling 101 and quote reference 1915/02SEP.”
