British Transport Police have released CCTV images of three women after £10,000 in cash was stolen from a man’s bag at London Paddington station.

The incident happened at around 9.30am on Friday 20 June, when a 49-year-old man passed through a barrier at the station and boarded a train. He was followed by three women, who walked through the carriage and exited at the opposite end.

The man later checked his rucksack and discovered that an envelope containing £10,000 in cash was missing. Police believe the women in the images may have information that could assist the investigation.

British Transport Police said: “Do you recognise these women? Officers believe the women in the images may have information which could help their investigation.”

Anyone who recognises them is urged to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 170 of 20 June.
