Primark has launched a new Stanley cup dupe, which is bigger than the old design and comes in a gorgeous spring-ready colour – and shoppers say they need one ‘immediately’

The Stanley cup has become a viral sensation in recent years, with people clamouring to buy the cult fashion water bottle in just about every colour they can find. Shoppers are willing to separate with a small fortune to get their hands on one of the cups as rave reviews spread like wildfire on social media, but with the official product being so pricey, it’s no wonder that some retailers have started producing dupes at a fraction of the price.
Fast fashion retailer Primark first launched a dupe of Stanley’s iconic Quencher H2.0 Flowstate bottle earlier this year, but fans were disappointed to learn the off-brand cups were half the size of the real deal. However, the dupes are back on Primark shelves once again – and they’re bigger and better than ever.
In a TikTok video shared by @primarkmeadowhall, an account for the Primark store in Meadowhall, Sheffield, it was revealed that brand-new Stanley cup dupes are available in-store. Not only has Primark doubled the size of its dupes to hold 40oz (1.18L) like the actual Stanley product, but the new design also come in a gorgeous colour.
While the original dupes were all plain colours, this new one is a beautiful shade of baby pink with a metallic leopard print design that looks perfect for the spring weather. What’s more, Meadowhall Primark has confirmed the cups cost just £10 – although that could vary between stores.
The leopard print dupe is not currently available on the Primark website, but there is an £8 Stanley cup dupe available in colours including purple, light grey, and aqua. The cup on the website simply states it is “one size”, so it is unclear whether this is the old 20oz bottle, or the new 40oz version. A product description reads: “Made from stainless steel, it features a large carry handle and curved straw for convenience, as well as a lid for added security to help prevent spills.”
But shoppers are eager to get their hands on the new and improved dupes, as commenters on the retailer’s TikTok video were quick to say they wanted to buy one “immediately”. One person wrote: “I need this,” while another tagged their friend in a comment and said: “Get me one immediately!”
Stanley cups have taken the world by storm recently. If you want to splash out on the real deal, the official Stanley website sells the iconic 40oz cup for £44.99 in a range of colours including cream, black, lilac, and shale. On Amazon, the official product skyrockets in price to £79.99, although all 40oz versions are sold out except the rose quartz one.
You can also buy Stanley cups at John Lewis, however, the 40oz cup – which was £44.99 – is sold out on their website. A smaller version with a flip-up straw is still available for £42.99. The large 40oz cup is still in stock in multiple colours on Urban Outfitters’ website, where each cup is priced at £45.
