Primark customers are ‘buzzing’ over the retailer’s latest launch, with some saying their ‘prayers have been answered’
Primark shoppers are over the moon with the high-street giant’s latest loungewear collection. Fans say they have been eagerly anticipating the arrival of one particular item, and now that it is in stock, many have expressed their excitement, saying “Primark has finally listened”, “finally my prayers have been answered” and “woohoo”.
TikTok user Libbie May Fitzpatrick couldn’t wait to tell her followers about the new find. On Saturday (June 14), she posted a video that showcased a shelf brimming with straight-leg joggers at her local Primark, reports Glasgow Live.
Her enthusiasm was clear as she said: “Finally, Primark have listened and they have now got straight leg joggers that only £7 and they’ve got a wide selection of different colours. Woohoo!” She continued: “And no more cuffed joggers! So make sure you get to Primark and get some!”
The video quickly went viral, racking up over 536k views, and you can watch it yourself below. In the comments, the reaction was overwhelmingly positive. Sophie said: “Finally my prayers have been answered.”
Kate chimed in with: “Buzzing.” Meg added: “Yipeee.” Queries came flooding in too, with Lorna asking about the fit around the tummy, to which Libbie reassured: “They’re really good.”
Lauren wondered if they were suitable for taller frames, and Libbie confirmed: “Yes.” Olivia confessed: “I stopped wearing joggers for like months and now they decide to do this.”
Josephine chimed in with her story too, saying: “Just cut some of my joggers for my dance show so they could be straight leg joggers, and then I see this.” Meanwhile, Gemma came up with another way to rock the joggers, commenting: “Ooooo be perfect as winter pyjamas.”
But not everyone was convinced about the fit, as one shopper said: “Probs ain’t long enough for long legged girls,” to which Libbie responded: “I’m 5ft 8.” And Melisa felt the height struggle too, lamenting: “Cries in petite and everything being too long.” However, Noah wasn’t too keen on the quality, noting: “Literally 2 washes and they are done.”
Despite their popularity, Primark hasn’t yet listed the sought-after straight-leg joggers on its website, meaning eager customers will have to search for them in-store while they wait. Libbie’s video showcases her holding a pair, appearing to be crafted from a thick, cosy fabric, claiming they’re a bargain at £7 apiece.
The video displays an array of sizes, from extra small to extra large, alongside a palette of hues, including cream, white, khaki, black, brown, and pink. What’s catching the eye of shoppers is the design detail where the joggers are not cuffed at the ankles but instead feature an elasticated waistband that ties at the front.
Although the new £7 joggers are in stores only currently, there are other similar options available online. Primark is selling these Straight Leg Joggers for £8, which come in either black or white. Or, there are these Straight Leg Drawstring Joggers for £12 in either grey, ecru and tan.
